In this week we visited York and Whitby.
In York we visited the National Railway Museum, which contains railway objects, such as trains, rail bridges etc. The museum is the largest railway museum in the world, with more than 1 million visitors per year. The objects in the museum are from 300 years of history.
At the museum, we learned about their marketing strategies, for example how they used the Maslow’s pyramid of needs to secure that they reach the needs of their target audience.
After the National Railway Museum we went to Whitby, where we ate Fish and Chips at the restaurant, Trenchers. Trenchers have received a lot of prizes for their Fish and Chips and was in 2012 the best Fish and Chips restaurant in England.
All in all, it was a interesting and delicious trip!
